Archival Records :-
Contemporary sources serve as a very authentic evidence for the reconstruction of the history and culture of Rajasthan.
The decline of Gupta Empire unleashed tendencies of political decentralization in Rajasthan and had resulted in the upsurge of various independents and semi-independent Rajput principalities which dotted the political scene of Rajasthan for the coming centuries. For the period 700 A.D. and onwards these sources not only help us in building up the chronological and political history on a firm basis but they also offer reliable pieces of information about the contemporary social, religious, economical and geographical conditions of Rajasthan.
The princely states of Rajasthan had a historical past which necessitated the maintaining of records of varied nature; revenue, judiciary, police, taxation etc. These records include a large number of bahis, Chopaniyas, Haqiqats, have been properly arranged under the supervision of proper guides.

Bhupal Nobles’ Museum :-
The Rajasthani paintings, which are found at various museums, art galleries and private collections of the state and thikana's, are important landmarks in historical studies. They not only represent the typical styles of different schools of art, but they also stand as testimony of the age to which they belong right from the 12th to 20th century. We come across several paintings which present Rajasthani culture in its true perspective, the account of paintings, costumes, armoury items. In this Museum items throw sufficient light on several aspects like the layout of houses, methods of irrigation, dresses of men and women, water, water sports, festivals and implements of wars etc.
