The first approval form All India Council of Technical Education was accorded to the institute in the year 1994. The process of providing quality to Pharmaceutical education did not stop here and the institute developed facilities required for starting postgraduate courses in Pharmaceutical sciences. The institute holds the honor of running postgraduate courses in Pharmaceutical sciences. Pharmaceutical sciences, Masters in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), Masters in Pharmacy (Pharmacology) and masters in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) With the starting of postgraduate courses the institute has touched heights in Pharmaceutical research, with most of the faculty members having research publications in well recognized Journals and students of both undergraduate and postgraduate level presenting their research work at various industry especially in research and development department. |

| It is due to the tiring effort of the award eight times and M. L. Khorana award twice. To acquaint the students with modern development in the pharmaceutical industry professionals are invited to conducted seminars and symposia from time to time.
The institute, which started with only 30 students in year 1984, has come a long way today 400. |
